We-Ko-Pa (Cholla)
Dramatic elevation changes and incredible desert vistas
About the Course
We-Ko-Pa's Cholla Course, designed by Scott Miller, offers a different desert golf experience than its celebrated sibling. The routing features more dramatic elevation changes, with several holes playing from elevated tees that offer panoramic views of the McDowell Mountains and Four Peaks. Like Saguaro, there are no homes on the course—just pure Sonoran Desert as far as the eye can see. The design is more bold and dramatic, with larger-scale features and more aggressive bunkering than the minimalist Saguaro. Together, the two courses create one of the finest 36-hole pure desert golf experiences anywhere, all on tribal land that ensures preservation of the natural landscape.
